Greg Ellis is a former NFL star turned playwright, director, and producer.

His “Juneteenth” Stage Play reflects on the history of Juneteenth and offers insight into the lingering effects of slavery today. Ellis believes in the importance of not forgetting the sacrifices others have made for us to have the freedoms we enjoy today.
