Have you ever sat in a movie or a play and thought to yourself, wow, who came up with this idea? What was the aha moment for them that lit some sort of creative fuse and made them think this would make a good story?
And that is what we are talking about on this week’s RDU on Stage podcast, the creative evolution of the musical Godspell. And I can’t think of any person better to have as our tour guide for this musical journey than Carol de Giere, author of The Godspell Experience.
Carol is giving away a copy of her book The Godspell Experience, signed by her and composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz, to one of our RDU on Stage listeners. For the rules, details, and to play our Godspell Trivia Game, click here.
Godspell opens April 12, 2019 at Theatre in the Park.
